When students are at the heart of what we do, everyone wins.
I believe our schools are the heart of our community. For those who have children in the district, our schools are our kids’ home away from home. For those without children in the district, the school culture spills into the rest of our community: school activities become community activities, as with football games or theater performances; the quality of the schools are reflected in the value of our homes; and our future residents are shaped. For everyone, our community is better when the schools are succeeding.
I am running in the special election for the unexpired term on the Forest Hills Local School District Board of Education because I want to ensure that our students’ needs are put first. I want to preserve our community investment. I want to advocate on behalf of everyone in the community who is putting trust into our district. And I want to focus on ensuring our school’s excellence is improved for the future.
I look forward to sharing more about myself and the qualifications I will bring to the school board.
